Some bad playing by me of all the Channels on My Gower Modded JVM 205c, a great amp.
ignore the playing (well noodling at best) and try to enjoy the sounds.

Sounds really good man. Which mods did he do on it?

He did his standard mods. But I Also asked for a choke for feel and some gain reduction (way to much in the JVM)
It’s actually more open sounding but it’s been compressed a little by YouTube.

As well as doing great mods Dan’s a super nice guy as well.

Nice one. He’s based in London no? I might look him up one day when the warranty runs out on my 205h.

Just outside of London (I actually live close by, it was funny to find out).

Cool, that’s convenient. I’m not too far from London either.

I only just bought the jvm, so I’m still learning to use it and how to dial it in. Actually, last night was the first chance I’ve had to really crank it. Sounded great.

Didn’t like the stock preamp tubes so I changed most of those. Pretty much got it where I want now, but I may want a few mods in the future.

I changed the valves, I like tung-sol in the power section and I also put a 12AT7 in position 2, it lowers the gain slightly but in this amp its a good thing.

I love Tungsol. I haven’t tried their power tubes yet though. I’ve also been trying a 5751 In various positions to lower the gain a little. Definitely a good thing I agree.
