Gower Amplification modded Marshall SLP RI

Gower modded Marshall (Rockmonster Mod). Some sloppy riffs and plenty of upper mid bark!

You cannot tell that it is a Les Paul. Sounding more like a superstrat. Which MCP? Sounds hotter than 9.0 (I have a few models and have the T-Top version eventually installing in a Standard or Custom.)
IMHO this combination sounds way too hot. Definitely other amps that do a better job in tone in this field. What I am hearing with this circuit representation or Gower Amplification mod, is that the Marshall mids are missing.

I’m sure many love this kind of tone, it’s not my cup of tea though. A bit too scooped and overdriven for my taste.

The SLP sounds like a recto! Has lost a good bit of note definition too.

A usable tone for some types of music, I suppose, but not what I personally like from an SLP. The amp looks like a clone to me. Out of curiosity, is it a clone, or an actual Marshall?

Out of interest is there a schem out there for these?

the first two gain stages are encased in a pool of goop on a separate mini board he installs in the amp. Im sure there are some other tweaks involved as well.
