Eagles did...in the super bow!
I thought it said he hated Fudge Packers...
Y'all do know the NFL is incorporated as an entertainment industry (just like all pro sports, the media, pro wrestling, etc.,.). The corporation decides who wins the Superbowl (makes the most money). Don't be fooled folks!
I saw you sold the jube. I sold mine too. Great amp, and I do miss it sometimes, but I always seemed to play my 800s, and the jube just sat..and I got $400 more than I paid for it.
You may like the jvm, my buddy has one and it sounds pretty good, I haven't fiddled with it too much, but it seems to be more of a modern voiced Marshall. I'm just a 6 knob JCM800 guy, and it seems I dail everything as close to the sound in my head..which is a 6 knob 800 2204..I can't help it..lol... Although I did add a JMD-1 50w head to the pile that's killer. Tube power amp/Modeling preamp but it doesn't sound like one, good usable effects, you should check one out.
I dont care all that much about football but everything is on cameras, how can they get away with bad calls with all the instant replays??
sorry bro ..just payback for the fudge packer comment...lol..
packers/steelers fan here, living in Falcon country.
fudge the Falcons
I like the Bears and the Packers (I grew up in Chicago, and have been in Wisconsin since my late teens). I agree with some of what has been said about the ref's calls, and that there is just too many calls, replays, challenges, etc. Most of the time, I have better (and more important) things to do than watch it anymore.
Panthers fan here win or lose been a fan since day one 1995, and I agree with Adrian make the officials full time, and learn to call a game the way it should be called
Another Packers fan. The refs and their calls/non calls are just bad these days in general, goes without saying...but by the end of the season every team will be able to say some of those calls benefited them as much as hurt them in games, just the way it goes. The phantom calls in the GB/Lions game were bad, no doubt (!), but even Stafford said the real reason they lost was settling for 5 field goals and not getting the ball into the end zone, not the refs. Anyway, it all averages out - sooner or later GB fans will be crying foul too after a ref costs them a game or two this year as well, promise you that!
bad calls have always been there and always will be.
been watching since the battles of the steelers and cowboys
back in the 70s. Roger Staubach vs Terry Bradshaw. man those were
some of the best games ever. real football if ya ask me.
the only thing that has remained the same is the eyes of the ref.
they still cant see the game any better today than they could back then.
sure we have replay but thats another post.
i think as fans we all tend to get that "woulda shoulda coulda" syndrome
'hell if i were the damn running back i woulda.........."
" i think the damn ref shoulda..........."
see what i mean?
just like everybody else on the field the ref's arent always on top of their game.
sometimes their eye is so keen we need a replay to see what they caught
to believe it ourselves.
other times we wish we could show them the replay ourselves just to slap
them on the back of the head and tell em to full their heads out of their butts lol.
either way its not an easy job and they know they are replaceable too.
i didnt see the game in question so i dont know how bad it was.
just trying to shine some light on the job of the ref's is all.
some are good and some are just plain awful. its just hard to tell which one is which
did you guys know that back in the 70s the average football player made 20-50K
a yr? today we got kids at MacDonalds that are making 20k only working 40 hrs a week
w/o the pain. now a lot of them are making millions playing the game.
boy times have changed havent they?
