You have $4,274.99 less tone, and it's also a year older ... sounds like you got a bad deal. Sorry for the tough luck, dude.

Don't think of it as a guitar collection, think of it as a retirement account.
Your collection is probably outperforming the stock market right now.
Accountants like me call that return on investment.
Now you have a reason to go get a few more, you savvy investor.

Thank you.

IMO, you make money when you buy.

That $325.00 was a lot for me in the early 90's.

So,if you see a toy that'sexpensive, it may not be expensive years from now and you could possibly make money.

Again, you know musicians as well as me............it's hard to find a buyer that'll pay market price.

Yeah man, finding someone to pay top dollar is challenging, but that's a 1,415% ROI if you find a buyer!

The funny thing about 63 Juniors nowdays , that "Les Paul" on the headstock is worth another thousand or two.

I just missed a LP in a pawnshop in GA for 5 bills in '99 . A guy had laid it away two days before I got there .I bought a non LP 63 at a McDonalds parking lot in NOLA a few years back

I'm not so sure about the 'out preforming the market... LOL with the s&p at 3k?... I only wish my vintage guitars would hold their value as an investment... I think the vintage guitar market is somewhat overrated. If you have an old guitar that is said to be 4k to 5k - you still have to find a buyer, and if you need the $$ and want to sell you investment you may not get the return you think... Guitars seem to be worth what they are to the seller not so much the buyer cause you have to find that right buyer... the market you simply sell... ha ha... buy a NEW Jr. they are great! I just got one for 1300. and it is perfect!

Anyone dumb enough to deal with GC deserves the horror stories that follow.

Maybe.

I don't know.

I did buy an early 60's Epiphone Coronet for $75.00.

I sold or maybe traded it many moons ago.

IMO, it was a POS.

Now, they're over $3k.

Well, IMO, you need to research your purchase and sometimes GC undervalues things..............not always but you need to know your product.
