I just seen this on cable, what a jam and sounding great on a marshall!! [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XXYjEMTQRm0[/ame]
Ken I see the Fender amp on but not the Marshall. I don't see the green channel's or the red channel's leds on. I know he likes to play on the crunch channel/green side but man it looks like the amp isn't powered on. Take a close look and see what you think...
He might be running both. I could swear I hear "something else" in there besides Marshall. Stevie Ray did that alot.
Thats another reason I was straining to tell. Sounded like Fender on Fender here and there on some of those rolled off moments...
Gary is so the man! I am a huge fan of his playing, always have been, and this video is a great example. Great dynamics! Happy holidays Trace
Gary Moore is the SHIT, NO DOUBT..His playing and tone has inspired me for more then two decades. The guy straight up KICK ASS! As far as guitar faces are concerned..I would agree with you to an extent...but a close competitor would be Steve Vai.. But then Steve Vai is from an entirely different planet..arguably the most brilliant guitarist that I have ever seen! I think there is some truth to that old movie he played in 'Crossroads'..in where he really MUST have sold his soul to the devil to play guitar like that! I read a recent article in where he was interviewed. The interviewer made some kind of comment that he must have spent years struggling with the guitar to play like that..His repy was that guitar has always been easy for him and has never struggled! BASTARD! I could practice guitar for 1000 hours a day for a thousand years and as good as 'I think' I am, could never even carry his guitar case... Frickin' dude is a alien..I'm tellin' ya...
