Hello everyone! This is my first post in a forum which I have followed for many years. The information I have grasped from everyone has enabled me throughout a recent recording experience using my JCM800, so many thanks in advance.
Ok, so getting to my scenario: I currently have an '87 JCM800 2205 (50 watt) paired to a JCM800 1960A (angled cab); this is my halfstack. Recently, I acquired a JCM800 1982B (straight cab) because I want to go full stack.
Question(s): 'How' do I properly connect these two cabs (both 16 ohms) to my JCM800 amp head (currently set at 16 ohms)? I ask because I am overly cautious about damaging my unit if not done correctly. What is the 'correct setting' before I plug these two cabs into the two loudspeaker outputs? Does it matter which cab goes into which output?
For context, please see the attached photos, and thanks again in advance for the help and input! Again, everyone has been a tremendous help and as asinine as this issue may be to many, I am approaching this cautiously and relying heavily on your expertise.
