I picked this up a couple weeks ago on the street with a FREE sign on it. Its next on the bench & then hopefully a guy from Sweden will demo 1 & make it sound just like a Plexi. LOL

    Nice score!
    Can't argue with the price.
Did you even try it yet?

Looks interesting! Those Analog Solid State Amps can be quite cool for some Applications. And for free- you can't do anything wrong. Seems to have a 10'' Speaker- it should work well as a Monitor, or for Acoustic, or EPiano, or Keyboard... At least that's what I would use such an Amp for :D

My only free amp to date was a Polytone Mini-Brute III. It came with a 20 foot guitar cable.

I use the guitar cable every day. It's a good one.

The amp, I recapped it and sold it for an average price for the type.

It was also a free by the street deal.

Well, it appears that the power transformer is faulty(no continuity on the input side). The schematic has sample voltages & calls for 30V at the output of the Bridge. P-P with a 24V replacement puts us around 33-35V. I have a few 24V transformers laying around, I just need to figure out how big it needs to be. I am also going to check all the diodes, caps etc for shorts.

I redid a Marshall Lead 12 that I got for a song yesterday. It sounds amazing.

At least it will look good with a guitar leaning on it. I think it looks pretty bad-ass.

If Rally Stripes make your Car go faster, there's no reason playing through a Rallystriped Amp wouldn't make your playing faster :flex:

Transformer issues aside, HNAD! Even if I couldn’t use the amp, I’d find a place for that sexy grill cloth and housing!

I think the Haze 15 is my best Marshall, it's the one i always seem to flick on in my music room anyway. You need the bright switch on on the dirt channel for any guitar but clean + bright only works with dark guitars ( loves my archtops with front pickups only).
