Very nice! Jeff Beck also played an Olympic white/rosewood board during the "Wired" period. Always loved the look of the white body/dark neck.

True ! I love him and listened to him quite a bit, though he's less of an influence than the others are. But he's awesome.

Lovely ! Has a nice Blackmore vibe to it ! I wasn't even born in Feb. 75 though (barely, it was in Nov. 75) ;)

Just stumbled on this post...and since I've just recently acquired my Strat...it brought a smile to my face!
Great looking strat and very nice hardware/pickup choices! Congratulations man, enjoy it! :eddie:

Thanks ! And congrats on the new Strat !

Yeah, as I never sell guitars and rarely buy any (last one to date was my Les Paul, which I purchased 6 years ago), I wanted something I'd be happy with for a very long time. And also, already having some pretty nice ones ('96 Fender US Classic Floyd Rose Strat, '13 Gibson Les Paul Traditional, '95 Fender MIJ RI52 Tele, '86 Kramer Paul Dean), I knew an "average" one would not cut it, my benchmark pretty much was the Eric Johnson sig Strat, which dictated some of my choices. And I basically wanted a very "stratty" Strat, very traditional looking and feeling, but with just a few different twists.
It's been a few days already, and I'm super happy with how it came out, sounds and feels just right. I've already tweaked setup a tad, as expected from any brand new neck, but it's settling pretty well. And the FS-1 in the bridge position sounds unbelievably good, just the right amount of cut and fatness. No wonder so many greats have used it (and still do).

Very short line, for sure! '64 Stones to '74 Sabbath, Zepp, Purple......the bedrock, you know?

Thanks Mitch ! The more I play it, the more fun I have, I'm almost there on setup too, plays great.
