Let’s hope our forum friends from New Zealand and their families are safe and well.
I can only think of Tubes right now. Who else here is from New Zealand?
That is a crazy video. Hoping all of our MF friends are OK.
Having lived in earthquake country all my life (California, U.S.A.), I can empathize with the people of New Zealand. Sorry to hear of casualties in N.Z. Hope the people get the help they need and recover quickly.
Yeah, wow. Crazy. Much bigger than I thought. Anyone heard from Tubes since yesterday around noon?
You ok, man?
Any Kiwis on the forum?
New Zealand is a strong country, they take care of each other over there. One thing I am sure of is that they will get through this with ease & come back even stronger.
It's okay in my city. (I'm up in the top half of the North Island.)
We are not in a quake prone zone here but we were definitely worried about the tsunami warnings.
I recall only a couple of other Kiwis on the forum here. I usually notice when one turns up. I have not seen them here for months.
Great to know you are fine @tubes.
Hey Tubes!! Glad to hear you're OK my friend!!
Damn! Sorry to hear. Glad tubes is OK
Tubes is okay!
I must say it warmed my heart to see the messages of concern from members here.
I worry about you too: seriously, every time I see your name I wonder how you're doing.
I have not even seen much news from Greece recently.
But still - I wonder how people in Greece are managing. According to the usual news it's impossible to have a reliable job or keep a small business going.
Also, according to the usual news outlets, riots - always riots.
I know we can't trust the 'usual news outlets' to have any perspective.
Hey Tubes. I’m glad you’re okay, mate. I live in an earthquake prone country myself and know all about dancing with no music playing.
I really appreciate your asking me about Greece, but I’m so sad and angry with everything that is happening here at the moment that I can’t even bring myself to talk about it. I’ve actually just logged on in an attempt to get my mind off it all.
