DSL40C Died Help

I have a DSL40C that’s about six years old. I put a Creamback in it and about two years ago I replaced the tubes. I rebiased everything when I replaced them and it ran great but about three or four months ago it just stopped making any sound, well it makes a very faint sound.

I think a transformer may have cramped out? I’m not looking to put much money into this amp, I’m thinking of this isn’t something I can fix my self I will pull the speaker and the tubes and send her to the curb. It wasn’t an amp that I really liked all that much anyways.
Thoughts?

Most tube amp problems are tubes and not the transformers.
Try some easy stuff before you just bin the whole thing.
Clean all the jacks and tube sockets with some Deoxit.
A preamp tube can last for decades, or for minutes.
Get a good 12AX7 and swap out the preamp tubes one at a time.
Even a trip to the repair tech may be worth the cost of you want to sell or trade.

I agree. Start with the tubes and go from there. Could be a simple fix!

Right after I posted this I said to myself, “Self! Go check those tubes!” Sure enough, a bad preamp tube. Sounds good l. It’s just a practice amp but glad I didn’t toss it lol.

Glad to hear it was an easy fix.
My next suggestion was going to be - put it in a box, I'll pay the shipping...
