Dsl40 Blowing The T1 Fuse

    Dummy me I was checking the plate voltage the meter was set at MA in stead of 600 volts and now it blows the fuse when I put the standby on any help?

    I needed a slow blow fuse so I should be today after I try it in today

    You shorted the output transformer to ground...

    Why would that be a 'warranty' repair?

    If you hit a telephone pole head on with a brand new car, is that a warranty repair?

    Just sayin.

    Meter set on ma is a short circuit.
    When you attached it to the plate, you connected the primary of the OT winding to ground.
    That would melt the primary winding...
    So if the primary is not shorted, you would be very lucky.
