DSL1 head pop sound when turned off

Hey guys, is it normal to hear pop sound when I press off button on DSL1 head, even though I put all to 0 before turning it off?

Maybe that is because lack of standby switch? On silver jubillee combo I do not have that sound.

A lot of amps do this it will not hurt things . That pop is a voltage spike from a ground loop a uneven power to ground when you shut things off .

Thanks, South Park. I was wondering the same thing about my Lead 100 MOSFET. Pops like a gunshot when I shut it down.

Mine does too, no big deal.

My DSL40CR does it too. I usually switch it to standby and waiting 3-4 seconds before turning it off.

My DSL1CR also pops when I shut it down. I've played it daily for a year so I don't think it's an issue and by now I just ignore it.
