One of the cool things that has happened in the last 12 months since we have been socially distanced is people are coming together via web apps to make music. We need to satisfy the urge to jam! While searching for a way to get that done I found a website called wikiloops where people can get together and collaborate on music or even form bands (not sure how that works because I just signed up and haven't looked at that yet). While checking it out I found a dark moody clip 2 guys started, Dan from England who used a sequencer to paint the landscape and a guitar player from New Hampshire who added some texture to it. It moved me and I couldn't resist jumping in and adding a few tracks of my own. I used my '71 Plexi modded YBA-1 and a Tele for my tracks. It was great fun and sounds pretty good except for one sour note in my lead. LOL

Here's the clip. I used a few creepy pictures I took years ago of an abandoned college nearby that fit the mood of the tune to load it on Youtube. I'm REALLY glad to have something other than a looper pedal to play with.

Check that website out. It's really a lot of fun. There's a ton of stuff to play with in all music genres. There's a player so if you don't have a DAW you can just click on that and play along or if you have a DAW you can download MP3 files of projects other members started and uploaded. You open it in your DAW, add your tracks and upload it for the next guy to add to. It's a really fun experience.

    Nice job!
I use to frequent www.kompoz.com for online collaboration. It is a much more established and better looking and working site. I haven't been there for over a year because the owner of the site went on a political rampage which left a bad taste in my mouth. I did have some good times there and made some cool music. They say politics is not allowed but if you lean a certain way then it is a go.

Yeah, I can't stand that crap. I've had more than enough of that over the last 4 years to last me a lifetime. I would like to go back to my life now and not have to hear about all the crazy nonsense on the social media sites. Screw all that. Let's get back to tearing it up right?

    Holy goodness!
Amp and Tele sound so good.

    You have some playing skills.
I know this post was about online collaborations but now that I have heard you play one time I wish I could hear you live on stage.

Also, you get 100 points in heaven for contributing to the cellar with your own playing.

LOL, I'm not sure it's that worthy but thanks man. That modded Traynor is a special amp. It's got "The Sound" you know?
