Decided to pass on it, so I might as well share it here. For all the Marshall Major fans. This beast is packing its original G.E.C. KT88 valves, when tested good they are probably worth more than his asking price. And recently someone offered these exact Partridge transformers for sale here, as some pigs were fitted with them (no idea if true or not). If I could have picked it up in person I would have probably bought it. My experience with these kind of PA amps from early 70s is that they were hardly used and not abused, so chances for this tubes to be as good as new are reasonably high to take a gamble on them

I picked up one of those (and a 100w) a while ago - sadly only one of the KT88s (original GECs) was still alive! I used the transformers from the 100 in one of my ORSTs.

I also have a TC100 with Partridge iron. Great quality stuff, but they are only pedal platforms and ugly as hell.
