My 17 year old kid when he was 7 was hooked on Texas Hold em and insisted we play every night, we both got pretty good at it, can you imagine a 7 year old card sharking you LOL. We expanded to 5 card stud in recent years but dont play that much any more, he'd rather hang out with his friends than his old man. :(

Played alot of Uno and Gin Rummy in college. :yesway:

Used to play Canasta and Cribbage a lot when I was a teenager.

And yeah, we had poker nights, a roll of loonies and toonies (Canadian $1 and $2 coins) and a 40oz bottle of choice to play, lol.

    Dam I miss those days...

Yes, Rounders is fictional, but that did not stop buddy Ben Affleck to try it in real life at a Vegas blackjack table, getting caught for counting cards, and get himself banned from the table. Not sure if he said he read a book called Beat the Dealer.
IIRC there was another more recent; a Russian that wrote a book on how to count cards. on Poker. name? (was on TV)

(I like magic card tricks.. My luck is not that great, cheaper to watch that, than play poker. Seen some crazy stuff on AGT, but not as good as the master Blaine - playing poker with him at the table, is definitely not recommended.)

Rick, I always wanted to play cards but I just never got beyond the one game my dad taught me: 52 Pickup.

Bust someday I think I'd like to learn how to play poker.

No, it's a card game. My Dad would say, "how would you like to play 52 Pickup?" I would say yes, then he would deal the cards, and then I would ...

    Hey wait a second.
