I suppose that’s possible. I do agree 100% too many kids on the stuff.

It all started when pesky teenagers started spinning Beatles albums backwards in the late 60s. Don't even get me started on Ozzy.

    1. Theres a surprise you "I dont buy that", no kidding!

    2. Just because it has not been studied yet or has positive results reported does not mean its not possible!

    3. No kidding many kids all over the world play these games...are you stating the obvious or telling yourself something? It only takes a few that have mental issues and bingo there you go. No one can tell me that little baby L0-Tek sitting there playing these games can be good for him, blood, guts, killings, violence, etc...really!!! Many people smoke but not everyone gets lung or throat cancer but its still not good.

Amazing, you find fault and critizie everyones ideas and suggestions in a negative way (Negative Nelly) but yet you have yet to post much if anything on causes of this or things that could be done to potentially improve the situation. Oh, wait that sounds just like a Liberal...oh, it just became so clear :facepalm:

Meds specifically engineered to alter the brain.

The problem is that the brain regenerates according to DNA.

The drug effects are only temporary.

Say what you say and think what you think.
I believe people need to use their brains.
If they cannot then the universe/nature should end them.

As long as it alters the brain long enough for the consensus programming to take effect................

Germany, Canada, the UK...they don't have school shootings at the rates we have but are generally regarded as having more progressive societies and criminal justice systems than ours.
Just looking nationally we see more conservative states and more liberal states all have shootings.
And some of the shootings that take place are routed in extreme conservative ideology; I just think it factually inaccurate and serves no purpose to blame libs or cons. ymmv
IMO- it's more about the human condition than party affiliation.
Plus, we all know the rules: No politics so why do people always insist on bringing it up. Then threads get nuked. What's the point..

You seem a little upset, lol.
For one thing I did agree with others about parental responsibility. I also agree with the earlier poster that suggested a spiritual problem (though I don't necessarily limit that to organized religion).
I also agree with those that suggested the schools are lagging but parents bear more responsibility- imo.
BTW- I'm an independent and always have been. I think both parties are a joke. How anybody can affiliate with either is beyond me. As such I do get tired of political rhetoric and propaganda.
Why people can't see the parties are both useless, lying, manipulative crooks is beyond me.

I don't believe video games are good for people. They constitute a waste of time in my book but no, I don't believe they turn people into killers.

I agree people should use their brains. Certainly kids would be better off exposed to literature, science, language etc.
Not to mention I think more time outdoors is good for people.
But I don't think listening to heavy metal is gonna ruin your brain.

Well, I didn’t bring it up—I just find the terms ‘liberal’ and ‘progressive’ misleading. The right to free speech and the right to bear arms are the cornerstones of our nation. Citizens of those countries you mentioned are not allowed those same rights...but those words you use to describe them sound so harmonious lol...

Just to be clear- I support the right to own guns and the right to free speech too.

that's what they always say... :)... (just kidding)

I think this is a good place to wind this up. For the most part, you guys stayed away from the political blame game, going back & forth in partisan fashion. There was some though, but nobody seemed to get all upset. :yesway:...

We came a long way from bullet proof backpacks, but, eh...

    group hug... :mods::hug:
