Hi. What is the voltage value of the 1nf bright cap on the gain pot of a 2203 JMP 100W? Thanks

It can be quite low (250v) but I use 1kV ceramic disc as they are correct size

a lot of things have to go wrong for that cap to see more than a couple hundred volts
but as mentioned, size and lead thickness (especially in resistors) often make overspeced components a good choice

Thanks Neikeel! Do you have brand to recommand? It's for taming my 2203, quite a lot bright to me ears! I've pull off the bright cap, but maybe to have a lower value on this will make a good blend! I've also mods the tone stack values (56K/220pf), much better, but still bright. I'll try to figure out with the TSC what can i do more in that part to have a better tone. I'll check to drop a bit the HF cap value (maybe around 120pf) and change the mid cap(22nf) by a lower one (between 12nf and 18nf), i'll have to try. But on the TSC, the mids response seem to be very cool with those values. I'll try! Thanks again!
