    No takers?
Listen to her belt out the chorus...and she nails every chorus. Going by what I've listened to on YouTube, she's one of the most difficult voices to imitate.

I appreciate the talent, but that's absolutely not my cup of tea.

Ann Wilson. Pat Benetar. Even P!nk singing her rock n roll tunes are all preferred over Adele. For me.

+1 for Adele. Kelly Clarkson is a hell of a voice too. They are both successors to Cass Elliot's school of beltinemout.

Wasn't sure where to drop this tonight, but figured this is a good thread since it's about female singers.

I like "Set Fire to the Rain" with Adele, but otherwise not for me.

Christina Aguilera did some good stuff earlier in her career, but I don't know what she's doing now.

Sinhéad O'Conner's "Nothing Compares 2 You" is a classic.

I like some songs by Swedish singer Anne-Lie Rydé. Unfortunately, she got problems with the vocal cords.

Some examples where I think the singer stands out. "Best on the planet"? Difficult to say. If you think these examples are just too sugary, you might wanna have look at Nina Hagen.
