Listen to her belt out the chorus...and she nails every chorus. Going by what I've listened to on YouTube, she's one of the most difficult voices to imitate.
I appreciate the talent, but that's absolutely not my cup of tea.
i´ll trade her for an 80s Doro all night long...
Ann Wilson. Pat Benetar. Even P!nk singing her rock n roll tunes are all preferred over Adele. For me.
These are good too:
My wife likes Adele
I dislike Adele.
Paula Cole with Gabriel, Secret World gets my vote.. Pick any in that show.
1970's Ann Wilson & Linda Ronstadt
Olivia Newton John was my pick back in the day.
is ok but there are lots better to my ears.
+1 for Adele. Kelly Clarkson is a hell of a voice too. They are both successors to Cass Elliot's school of beltinemout.

Sinhéad O'Conner's "Nothing Compares 2 You" is a classic.
I like some songs by Swedish singer Anne-Lie Rydé. Unfortunately, she got problems with the vocal cords.
Some examples where I think the singer stands out. "Best on the planet"? Difficult to say. If you think these examples are just too sugary, you might wanna have look at Nina Hagen.
Anne-Lie Rydé is great, and also a fantastic person
