For a cool $100k i will part with my Hendricks signed jcm900dr
Oh yeah, people who never pay attention, are paying attention,….
I just hope it’s not too late.
I’m an American living in Florida and about three years ago I tried to buy a Marshall from Thomanns in Germany US section, I had purchased a guitar from them before.
I put the amp in my cart and went to checkout, at that point I was told they were prohibited, from Marshall, from selling Marshalls to the United States.
Our so called Leaders are supposed to do their dam job looking out for Americans first, not themselves or other Countries first!!!
Yes, for the first time in our country's history, energy independent. Not slaves to the OPEC cartel. Bad enough yet? They are working on shutting down Enbridge Line 5 pipeline for environment reasons. Pipelines can be repaired.. 23 million gallons of oil pass thru everyday.
Very territorial in how the carve up the markets that they sell in and we are allowed to buy from . I could get the Marshall from Andertons , but I would have had to pay all the import duties and taxes and then have it converted at my cost to 110 .
I'm thinking the bottom will drop out of this inflated market here pretty soon, I'll save my $$ till then.
Of course the way things are currently heading, it could be that guitar amplifiers may be the last thing we'll be concerned with acquiring in the near future..
I think they know it too.
I've been told the same. Go to that German place. I forget the name but it's HUGE!! Remember the voltage will off different if coming in from the the land of wooden shoes.
I think he’s looking to give you a different kind of jab.
(I had to go there, that meatball was right down the center of the plate.)
Leaders? Dude, ever hear the term "taken from the inside"? There are no "Leaders".
That's a pretty smart assessment Doc, I'm with you on that.
I'm more concerned with acquiring more precious metals in the near future....
(even though gear is always on my radar)
How many guitars are "too many"? How many amps are "too many"? How many pedals are "too many"?
How much ammo is "too much"? Considering the ammo aisles in my local sporting goods stores look like the bread aisle in a Venezuelan grocery store, we may never know the answer to that one...
I don't know how many is too many, but I know I NEED one more.
Please don't hold your breath, I hate to see anybody suffer from asphyxiation
This ain't going away until we solve what's causing it to happen
Things won't get better, I believe. It's flip the table time and the table is the US.
All the stuff in those containers is already paid for. So if you slow down the deliveries you "manufacture" a "shortage" thereby driving up prices "artificially". It's a big old effin scam. Don't think all that stimulus money was cause they like us, now its time to give it back plus interest.
I see media programming has not been working on some of “ you”
