Somebody is on some serious stuff or something ? People are wack thinking they could fetch that amount of $ for a Hondo . When you can get a decent Fender or Gibson for that amount . Newsflash -with people returning to the workplace people will be doing a massive gear dump and gear will be on sale marked down real cheap . It's coming !!!!!

True. I do recommend though that he not be on it when he actually sets the prices though. Lol.

I was going to recommend that everyone here put in single digit offers, but he has shipping at $75, so he might end up taking your offer for what the bass is probably really worth.

I always seem to see ridiculous price on used gear! As far as deals on bass guitars go, I’ve got a Made in the US 1979 short scale Fender Musicmaster bass, I bought it new for $175 in 1980! Lol!

Hondo's, Electra, and Bentley were the cheap brands my friends and I were playing when we were teenagers. These were probably made of plywood. They were just starter guitars.

yes, but, before mid-eighties, they were MIJ... I'm not sure when they outsourced to cheaper labor...

I remember back in the day when MIJ meant crap & nobody wanted it, especially Squires & MIJ Fender...

I wish I still had my old Westone Matsumoku Thunder II bass...

    looked just like this:
