Ambition (as we get older)

    That's true. The 2 choices in life, presuming one is not financially independent are:
    1. Get a job
    2. Create one

    It's always been my belief that you can obtain any reasonable goal that you want. The driving force is desire, without which, you won't care enough to be persistent enough to obtain your goal. Seeing what you've accomplished with your Journey tribute band, I think you would agree.

    'Reasonable', being the qualifier where things tend to get tricky. Desire is of paramount importance, but like a singer who loves to sing, but has a tin ear. One must be able to objectively gage their ability, honestly.

    I go by Bruce Lee's notion, "Using no way as 'Way', Having No limitation, as Limitation"-- as a means to self-discovery.
