Hello, I revisited the Aeolian mode after a very very long while and I was surprised how much I enjoy the intensity of the minor sound. There is kind of passion and sweet sadness in the Aeolian mode without sounding depressing, dreadful and helpless.
For the more negative moods of helplessness and dejection I found some info here:
    https://www.ethanhein.com/wp/2014/the-saddest-chord-progression-ever/
This utilises the lift from implying the brightest scale=Lydian and then plunging down to Dorian or Aeolian to magnify more negative intense feelings.
I did a strict E minor improvisation over Aeolian modal progression and E in the bass without modulating to different keys or implying different modes, so the "negativity is not too deep". I am not sure if it is really sad either, but I can feel the intensity of the Aeolian mode and I like it.
For that I would like to share my wee tune here:

You are playing diatonic key of G Maj. You can utilize those exact same notes for A minor, B minor, C Maj, D Dom7, F# Dim, and of course E min7.

Yes and no negatives waves, Moriarty.

You say that like it's a bad thing.

A, D, and E dudes. Worked hinky-dinky for Page, EVH, Billy, Angus...

I like the feeling you’re getting, I am definitely no music major, but I know what my ears tell me.
Thanks for sharing your wee bit .
    Cheers
