AC/DC Tone Nailed?

    I think I got pretty close IMO...

    Double tracked the guitars...with my SUHR OD100 and my ‘87 Gibson LP Studio STD.

    Solo sucks but the focus was on the rhythm here...

    I don't think it sounds like AC/DC's guitar tone, but, it's a decent sound on it's own. Unless you really want to nail their tones, I wouldn't sweat getting their sound. If you like what you've got & can play it inspired, that's what counts...

    to much reverb or slap back.
    other than that its a good sounding tone. not so much AC/DC
    but one you can fine tune for damn sure.

    yeah the idea was to sort of be there, but I guess you’re right. No point sweating to get that sound. Just having fun is more important. Which I am having.

    Take out the reverb.
    Do not double track.
    Less gain.
    Less bass.
    Give that a try.
    Get the Solo Dallas Storm.
