i built this into what used to be a raven ss combo
had a scare yesterday when i tried to fire it up (no power at all), until i realized i used the wrong size fuse :slap:
besides labeling the on/off and standby switches incorrectly (it's only ON when the switch says OFF), i'm pretty happy with it
i'll probably post some sounds whenever i find some damn free time (don't hold your breath!)

TOOBS NOT BOOBS (i'll mess around with tube rolling sometime when i don't have to get ready for work)

GUT SHOT (messier than i would have liked but... it's my first build)

A 5E3 is next on my list of things. I think I'm gonna pick up a Marsh kit since they have nice tweed cabinets. Man, that camera sure is blurry.

I think all phones do, sir. Is the circuit in that last picture complete? I don't see any runs to the rectifier.

You get any hum with the heater lines run along the board and under all the wires like that?

Great job, thetragichero! It makes my 5E3 board look like what it is... a homemade mess! Here's a shot of it - it's so homely looking it'll make your board look that much better.

That was actually a 5E3X2 amp a la Weber. Here's the latest project. This is supposed to be a 1974 circuit. It's about half recycled parts and another homemade board. I have to do these things as cheaply as possible so forgive the piggy-backed resistors and added leads.
