If it's Richie, then all tracks are the best.
He plays clean. There is no doubt, he does not fuzz it out.

    Almost clean ;-) AIWA TP-1011
He get his fuzz and distortion from smashing his Stratocasters, with 3-way switches of course.

^ A most outstanding moment in rock television right there

That opening riff of Burn is also Blackmore defining .....
I can do without all the Bach-y sh*t in the middle ...but that RIFF !

I'm a big Ronnie James Dio fan. You can't beat those first two Rainbow albums. Some awesome riffage by Blackmore on those.

Great question. Off the the top of my head, BURN
killer riff, killer lead, great song.

From that article I agree with Kill the King being in the there.

Space Truckin or Highway Star, because the lead in Highway Star is so iconic.

I would leave Gates of Babylon out of the top five.

If I had to introduce someone to Deep Purple in under 3 minutes, I would have them listen to Super Trouper from Who Do We Think We Are! I use it as one of my warm up exercises.

I was gonna say 'Where's BURN'?
But somebody said it for me...

It does go to show just how good the 'Made in Japan' album was.
