Me three. I'd love to have one of these. years and years ago when Session Musik (Germany) did that video with Ollie pretending he was doing an amp demo they totally had me fooled.... then he reaches into it for a beer and at first I was ....then  ...then

I saw this 2 month old video from Marshall and I thought they were going to re-issue it.

I have one, at least a decade old and still kicking. Perfect beer fridge (I'm a craft beer snob). Mine is missing a knob for preamp, just like the read deal :)

Reducing the hum is a quick easy mod. Just a couple components to increase the Negative Fridgeback Loop.

A 20 watt JVM with midi switching would suit me.

I'd like an SV20 with bit more built-in ooomph - something like the Bernie Marsden whitesnake amp they did the other year. And fridge in the style of a plexi. Full of plexibeer which I've just invented.

How on earth did you knock a knob off a beer fridge?

I think you’re confusing Marshall with that other British amp company, um,… Hiwatt! :naughty:

It's been a looong time since Marshall put out a flagship circuit sans tubes. I'm thinking about the MOSFET 100. Maybe a DSL or 800/900 that's been FETted like Orange's line of SS Rockerverb clones.

I love my tube amps but I'm not sure the youngest guitarists care as much as we do, and SS amps do retain tone at lower volumes better than a lot of tube amps. Combined with a lower price-point, it might be something workable.

At this point, what amp company can build anything new and unique?

There's already so much crossover between amp builders that everything that could possibly be done is being done and even beaten to death.

I guess they could still keep coming up with new amp and cab coverings...Saran wrap, anyone?

In honor of their 60th anniversary they will release no new products in celebration!

All Marshall amps with built-in auto bias with the ability to use any power tube type (similar to AFD100 and YJM100) would be a dream.

    Marshall Car!
Open top, all doors, bonnet and boot made up of marshall half/full stacks. Car stereo is a, dependant on model, jcm, plexi, jvm vm or jubilee.
Comes in white, black snakeskin or purple only for vm owners. Jubilee comes as an electric car so that small group can still feel superior.
I can see the advertising now!
" Is your guitar playing annoying your neighbours? Try the new Marshall car, and you can piss off other people's neighbours instead!"
