Chris I believe Marshall's off shore stuff is made in Vietnam, not China.
The Origin is Made in Vietnam.

I agree with @BanditPanda, SV20 or Origin 20,...$2000 is too high for one amp and home use imo. The Origin is made in Vietnam,... but not outsourced to some independent company that makes 10 different amp models in the same factory, like some other Asian made amps.

Marshall owns the factory, and the staff and workers are Marshall employees, so quality control is excellent. They make their Origin and Dsl lines there. Ask just about anyone that owns one of these amp and you'll hear mostly great things about tone and build quality.

Valvestorm would build an amp like mine ( Metro Specs ) for less than $2000. They could even use NOS Mustard Caps, PEC Pots, A/B Resistors.
Metro 0 Loss FX Loop. Killer Master Volume. Not including tubes.

If I was to go another route, it would be Germino.

Also don't agree $2000 is to much for home. If that's what you want, that's all that matters.

There's no argument about the fact that only a BluesBreaker is a BluesBreaker.
However addressing the OP's desire of ".....I’m really just wanting a great Marshall clean tone."
there certainly could be interesting debate as to whether the SV 20 can or cannot provide that.
Seeing that supposedly the SV20 is close engineered to the SLP specs one would have to presume that the SV20 can provide a " great Marshall clean tone "

I just found a Bacino Bac118 for sale, $1,050. The prices new seemed to indicate it to be a $2,500 amp. I read a review that raves about the builder. It’s an odd looking amp, purple with gold piping - not that that really matters.

Anyone with experience with these amps please chime in. Sounds to good to be true

Agree with you on that! I needed something to tide me over until funds necessary to get a BB, and on top of that my lead 12 finally got too temperamental for everyday use. I think it is as close to the BB as you can get without tube rectification. A nice tip of the hat to the early Marshall sounds for sure.

Looking for something I don't remember what.
$2k is a lot for a BB. My near mint 2014 model was up for £800 here in the UK. I straight traded it for a 2061x head and a class 5 combo.
