Hi all,
New poster here, I'm actually a vintage Fender nut and in truth I don't know enough about vintage Marshalls yet, but I've developed a bit of a hankering for a vintage Super Lead now that I own a Fryette power station I feel like I'm halfway there and the biggest thing holding me back was being able to tame one. Anyway, the plan was to do some research and become as much of an expert as possible before looking but one's come up that I quite like sooner than I expected so I thought I'd come and ask any experts here that are willing to help out. Can you see what if anything has been changed and is not original on this 1972 super lead, and what the implications of that might be on both sound and I guess resale if it ever came to it (although that's not the plan)
I'm already aware that it has apparently had a replaced 'plexi' front panel? I think I'm a little confused why somebody would do that, perhaps to cover up if holes have been drilled in the chassis??
