I think the selling point must be the flight case, she knows her amps?, I think? etc, a more down to earth offer minus the case should bag a great amp, both parties win :yesway:

Not sure who Lana del Rey is, but she could use a good fisting.

Maybe it's a magic amp? If you plug into it you will immediately play like Yngwie Malmsteen and also become a chick magnet, hence the price?

A couple years ago I went back and forth in a GC on a used one of these for $1300. It was so absurdly big I decided against it. If these are selling for $15k I made a mistake lol

I've been to SD a few times, and I know several people in SD. You are by far my favorite thing about SD.

    that's not accurate...

Let's say the amp belonged to Jimmy Page & he used it on both Firm tours.

You'd probably be looking upwards of $75K for the amp. Whoever this Essex Studios guy is, thinks that Lana Del Rey has $15K worth to her name...

These amp's are selling used, for $3K+ in EX, but not mint shape. EX shows signs of use/wear, but not any ugly marks, or damage...

As long as it's functioning properly, it's a nice amp & not very available - pretty rare.

That LDR amp is in pretty good shape, probably EX/EX+, depending on how well it performs. I bet it's in good shape there too.

So, if you figure, a like amp, selling for $4-5K, normally, this one isn't terribly out of there, but, I have no interest in LDR. I had to look her up & don't even like her music. I could, but her sense of intonation is seriously lacking & hurts the senses after a bit. Take the vocals out & I could probably listen to it...

But, yeah, the guy is (over) selling the flight case, which, while neat, isn't worth more than $200, on a good day. He's probably thinking it's in the $1k's because of the LDR plaque & the worn out stickers...

Admittedly, it'd go perfect w/ my Danzig cab, w/ that case by that other band, but, I'm not game to pay anything like that. I got my cab/case for $500

Well, if you are saying these amps are selling for $3k+ then I would say it's pretty accurate I made a mistake haha

Seems like a genius way to get some attention for an artist :) Put a crazy price on an amp and say "Played by XXXX". How many of you went to her page to check out her music? I did!

So let’s see, I could buy that, OR, I could buy a Plexi 101, a Chupacabra, and 2 other 100w amps. Go out to a nice dinner with a high end 20 year old escort. Come home and boink her in a pile cash, about $9500 worth of cash, give or take, and wave goodbye as she leaves. Then sit in the dark as 16 EL34’s warm my room for a good nights sleep.

ahhh, I’ll have to get back to you on that......

    I'll take 2.
You can get a custom ATA headcase for about $260 bucks.

Nah, just immense. Like the 100w EVH, or the Royal Atlantic...no need for that kind of heft and girth

    I've never lifted a YJM100...

Probably light compared to my SVTs though. :)...
