There is no "Alnico Sound." Jensen Alnicos will sound different than Celestion Alnicos.
And the cab has just as much affect on the sound...open...

Sounds like a fuse. As I recall, TSL60's need robust fuses(vintage). I blew a fuse when I swapped out some known good preamp tubes.
