If it says 1959T, that is the model, not the year it was made. And a 1959T is a 100 watt model. The 50 watt model is a 1987T. Great amps I bought...
I've had both & kept the older model 40C over the newer 40CR. The only mods are tube changes, and it's never had any issues. Also, I converted it...
Ok great It's yours PM sent
Marshall 2555x Silver Jubilee Reissue
Cool I bought my first Marshall in 1976, a '72 Rosemary JMP50 for $350 Yep, their have been sales between $1,800 - $2,000 recently
You're welcome Yes, it was but 30 years ago
I did not say I paid those prices, but that I've recently seen a few being sold around those amounts. So someone has been willing to go that high....
If you're referring to the 2204 JMP, I've seen a few in good condition sell for around $1,800 to $2,000
On your list, I would keep every Marshall. Sell the rest & buy a 1987 or 1959 to round out. I have all of the Marshall's you do & a few more...
Nice score
First up 2204x
Um Sigh Never mind
I almost always prefer 100 watt big iron tone and feel vs anything smaller, even at lower volumes. IMO, the 2525 does not come close to my 2555x....
Change your power tubes
No Just no
The DSL50 kicks ass. It's ok to admit it, this is Marshall forum, a safe place.
& if you don't like a Ceriatone, your resale value will be even more of a loss
You're here for one reason MARSHALL
