Tuki does indeed have a dust cover for the sv 20 combo. I bought one back in December. The quality of these is fantastic!!! Nice and thick padding.

The 2555x does indeed have a choke. Check the website amp reviews from tony mckenzie. He verifies that they are the same transformers.

This happened to me on my 2555x. It turned out that it was the new quad of el34's I just bought. I was sent a new quad and the problem disappeared

Hmmmmm I'm not sure what happened there but I had mine replaced in 2013 with the revision 20 board and it did not affect the footswith...

I've owned the 2555x since June 2015 and so far no problems at all. I live in western ny where it can be very humid in the summer. Fingers crossed!
