Maybe the plug is ok! but grounding in the amp has to be to the chassis. I would look for that

They where dull sounding I would say , without dynamic. I prefure the stock Marshall.
I bought a set of GT ecc83 /12AX7 -C Premium, this month ! I was so disapointed . I doubt that they are similar to the stock Marshall JJ
The amp would be ok, but the speaker has problem with low frequency sound. The design of a guitarspeaker are not fit for bass.

Does your power cord have "ground"
