My '89 JTM45RI had 5881 tubes in it, now it has KT-66.
Well, first time around, the voltage was 351 volts.
After some reseach, I found out that my 8 ohm cab wasn't 8 ohm at all, and used another cab...
Checked my notes now, it appeared to 45mA and 391 volts.
I can not remember if I adjusted the bias lower after that.
I've replaced 5881 for KT-66 in my JTM45RI some time ago. Belive I set bias for about 45 mA, if memory serves me right.
So does it mean it's still safe to use biasrite?

Set your (amp)head to 8 ohms, plug into 8 ohm on your cab.
I had one with 12" speaker for eight years, never had a problem with that.
