What is the cheapest decent recordable Marshall amp to record in combination with a for home recordings?

The only 1 watt they currently make is the DSL1, the others you can find used. The DSL1 would be great for home recording and are fairly inexpensive. :yesway:

What is the cheapest decent recordable Marshall amp to record in combination with a for home recordings?

That will work too, but you can crank a 1 watt for recording without shaking the walls like a 20 watt will. Plus you wanted something cheap, a 20 watt is gonna cost more.

    1960A vs 1960AV - your experienced opinion?

I get that its not a big deal but I didnt know that 3 years ago when I had my SC20H, I didnt know if it was affecting tone or not. Its too much money tied up for potential problems, when I pay full price for new I expect perfect. If I still had it today, at this point I probably wouldnt fix it...

    1960A vs 1960AV - your experienced opinion?

OCD... Ive had several amps with loops and none of them did this, therefore I equate this as an engineering flaw, I dont want to pay this much for an amp that has something thats not right. And besides, returning it led me to buy the SV20H my first 4 holer and I was blown away! This would not...

    1960A vs 1960AV - your experienced opinion?

I'm glad its a non-issue and you like the amp, sounds like you may need an attenuator, I've always been happy playing these amps and my 2204 volume 1 for home and an OD pedal for more gain. Enjoy it :yesway:

    1960A vs 1960AV - your experienced opinion?

Can you plug your amp into the cab before you buy it? 4x12 seems a bit much for what you really need, 2x12 would fit better in the downstairs bathroom. Build one or have one built!
