Some people, some people, like cupcakes, while I prefer muffins.
Ignorance is bliss, some people see trees, others see a forest. Life is all about where you are and what you perceive. Think small, think big, does it matter? Of course it does, what will you be remembered for? That's right...
Very timely thread for me, myself & I.
Yes, it is all ego to bring a full stack. Do you want to impress people or do you want to entertain people? Well, you can do both.
At first reading the thread I thought to myself how silly it is to bring the full stack but as I read further along there...
I’ve been actively playing guitar for 45 years, until today I never thought that I would want a guitar with higher action.
I recently bought a Les Paul and I also built a guitar from parts. They both have the same pick up but do not sound similar. The action on the home built it is much higher...
My thoughts also. At first, I was like that sucks all these guitars never get played, just sitting there as an investment. Investment?
He would have been better off buying an old Marshall stack or Dumble and a few pre-CBS stratocasters, a couple of Gibson Les Pauls, a real '59, or two. Full...
This video made a huge impression on me so I showed it to the guys in the band today and we all agreed that we should be more like this band. Raw emotions and musical movements that seem spontaneous yet rock with the music make for fun shit to watch.
Damn the tan pants with their music...
I customized the Gibson. It is no longer a Traditional. If I weren't such a Cork sniffer, I would have bought the Epiphone. They're really really nice knock-offs with a bad headstock design. (I have thought about going back and buying one of the Epiphones, they are that nice.)
I will never be a...
It quacks like a duck. If I were Billy Gibbons, I'd be happy, but after playing it for about 20 minutes I ordered a Tom Anderson H3 for the bridge position. I like the feel of the neck and it sounds good unplugged. I have H3 or H3+'s on all my guitars and have for 35 years.
I was down to one amp once, well, one "real" amp and I felt naked and exposed. Who does that? One amp, lord, the horror. I couldn't sleep at night until I found a good replacement for the amp I sold. I like to have a minimum of 3 working, high quality amps.
We have three GC’s in Connecticut so I went to all three and ended up back at the first GC and bought this Traditional - $1,699.00. Decent price for the guitar IMO.

Thank you to all, I'm headed into GC to try a few LP's to get a feel. And maybe buy new! One thing for certain, I will be owning another LP by the weekend.
