You really make this place great, Mitchell. I could read your very significance the day I joined. Maybe it's because I'm ....sapient?? Lol. Here's to you, bro.... <tip>

Thanks brother I appreciate your support.
I thought when I first joined that I would be a laughing dufas, but a number of members here kind of made me feel like I belonged.
So I have been just being myself and tripping about this forum like I have been here forever.
        Thanks again brother.

Mitchell I have a question, can i run my Dsl 40 cr through a Line 6 spider 3 75watt as a extra speaker? And do I use the 8 ohm jack? Thanks

If the line six is a 16 ohm speaker yes !
If it’s an 8 ohm, you will have a mismatch.
I have been running this mismatch on my Dsl40c’s since they where new.
I don’t recommend this, but I have been doing it for over 3 years now.
        Cheers

Hi Mitch, did you take those white MG cabs out and play gigs in Taverns with them?
That beer and smoke smell gets into everything! Lol!

I haven’t gigged regularly since the early 80’s brother, I only take them out when trying to hook up with a bassist or drummer who can’t get to my place.
I haven’t spilled any beer on them, but I do smoke

Love those white Marshall stacks in your photo. I was lucky enough to get a top section. Wondering if the bottoms are probably 2x12's cabinets?

They are MG cabs with a 4-12 speaker set, I have been slowly changing the speakers in them !
        Thanks

I have never played one of those amps but if that’s a good price, with GC you always have the return policy, the ones I had where AVT50H, not sure the model number and I was able to snag them at $ 200.00 each.
        I hope this helps

I am not familiar with this amp brother, sorry I am no help. Post a new thread in the Marshall amps column and your going to get quite a few responses from members that have more knowledge than I.

Hey , the set up I have in my 4 x 12 fender is a X pattern of G12T75 and Texas heat. All used from ebay and CL.
None will replace the green backs or creambacks. That 2205 cab might have G12T75's and you could maybe flip the amp. But ebay , check avatar speakers. From time to time they sell slightly used speakers.

Will do brother thanks for the heads up, and the case of flipping the amp!! I tend to try and keep all the gear I buy now, because of selling it all off before, at one time I had 2 full stacks, one early 70’s, with the gold veins, smaller logo, and 1 late 70’s larger logo, after not having any gear for about 17 years,

I have been playing guitar on and off since 1973, I didn’t learn how to properly tune it till 1976,ha ha, in 83 I quit, picked back up briefly in 89-93 quit and sold everything again. Around 2007 I bought my grandson a starter set ,and slowly started playing again. And now back into it full swing. I am glad I found this forum. Awesome place to be
