8020 Quick Question ..

Hi,

How do I remove the amp section out of a valvestate 8020 20w combo please ? I've taken out the 4 retaining screws from the top surface and even the speaker front face panel .... but she still doesn't want to come out.

Many thanks Malc.

Not sure on the 8020...but on my 8280 the top screws are all i have to take out
it might just be sticking....not sure if the handle screws go all the way thru but you might want to remove them as well just to be safe (i'm pretty sure they don't touch the chassis though)

Re: 8020 Quick Question ..

Thanks Buggs,

I got a bit braver and gave it a very serious wiggle ... she broke free. I think there must have been something sticky spilled in it an one time. I can now get to the pots.

Many thanks Malc.
