Retubing my JCM 900

Probably had this question a million times before. Sorry but...

I wanna re-tube my JCM 900 100 Watt Dual Reverb 4100 from 5881's to EL34's

I know the sound difference, I love the marshall sound but I want more head room, beefy-ness, and gain.

Now 2 questions.

1. Will this process be a simple retubing or is there re wiring involved? Because there's a sticker on my amp that says, retube with 5881's only or something like that.

2. With the more gain that I've heard about from the EL34's does that bring more noise to the amp? Because now even with the gain all the way it's dead silent, I love it, will this change?

Oh, also I'm playing this head through a Standard Mesa Boogie 4x12.

Feel free to ask me to elaborate more on my question if needed,

thanks for any help!

Re: Retubing my JCM 900

Turns out my shop doesn't do mods.

Turns out doing this is A LOT of wok on the amp.

He's gonna recommend me someone but recommends to not follow through.
