Don't know of any kit, but I believe you need 6 50x50uf.
I did this to an early 70's Metal Panel that was very noisy. All the original caps were bulging, with one looking like it was about to break. After the cap job, the amp did sound better, with much less noise.

I personally like F&T caps. They're not the cheapest, but I believe they are the best current cap around.

F&T 50uf x 50uf @ 500V - $14.50 : MetroAmp, Amplifier Kits and Parts Online Store

F&T are great caps very long lasting. Here's another source for them!

Re: Re capping a 72 100 watt super lead

You can go With The ARS capacitor.
They are more insulate then F&T.
before doing this ...read the falloing line.

DISCHARGING CAPACITORS - the filter capacitors in an amp will retain a charge for quite some time after the amp is shut off and unplugged. It is a good idea to make sure your amp is safe to work on. My personal preference is to take a wire with an INSULATED alligator clip on each end. Clip one end to a good ground point, and the other to one of the plate leads for the first stage preamp tube. Another method would be to put a 100k, 5 or more watt resistor in line of these 2 clips and put one end first to ground, then the other to the filter caps themselves. NEVER SHORT THEM OUT DIRECTLY!

Take care
Dave
