Vintage DSL 50!

Thought I'd have a go at giving my DSL 50 the 'Vintage' treatment, the cloth's wrong but at this stage it's only to see what it would look like, the 6" logo was from a practise amp I picked up at a boot sale for a quid cos it had a dodgy switch.
Still not sure but the beauty is I can put it back to original with 4 screws with the old panel being untouched!

Steve.

Wink Re: Vintage DSL 50!

Cheers T, still not sure, the piping across the centre is a bit too thick & too white but it's all I had at the time & as I said it was a trial run, might put it back to normal, no harm done.

Re: Vintage DSL 50!

You should get the MM choke for it. A custom looking DSL should also have a custom, upgraded sound!

Re: Vintage DSL 50!

Nice work!

I agree that the piping would look better if it was the thinner type, but over all it looks great - and suits the DSL panel nicely!
