valvestate 232 reverb trouble shoot

reverb doesnt seem to be working when i unplug a rca jack to reverb i get a loud noise how do i trouble shoot

Make sure all the RCA's are firmly plugged in to start. If there's still nothing, you may need to take the reverb tank off and see if the springs are off the guides, or if any connections with the RCA wires is touching the tank.

I don't get that on my AVT model but yours is older. I'm sure if you unstall it or cut the plugs it may stop?
