problem with the volume in my jcm !!

Well my peoblem is :

i have a JCM SLASH 2555, WHEN I USE THE MASTER VOLUME AT LOW RANGE (LIKE 1, 2 OR 3 ) OR THE GAIN KNOB AT LOW RANGE...

when i hit the strings on my guitar ....sudendly the volume goes down....and then i move the guitar cable close to the input jack ...and the volume comes
again....the guitar cable is working fine ok !!

so i don`t know if the problem is the input jack...because when i use the distortion at high volume leves works fine ! (well somotimes )

i really don`t know the problem !!

i make a mistake by using the head at a diferent ohm cab !! head in 16 ohm ...and cab at 8 ohm ..... could this be the problem..( i did it just for a couple of hours )

i don`t know if the problem is the input jack, the tubes , or my mistake with OHMS ?

please help me ...!!

could be so bad ?
