Problem with JCM900 1960A Cabinet.
Ok, here's the issue...
I have a JCM800 2203 head and a JCM900 1960A cabinet. When I set the head to the 16ohm output and plug it into the 16ohm side of the cabinet, all 4 speakers work fine. When I set the output to 4ohms and plug it into the 4ohm side of the cabinet, only the 2 speakers on the right work. Any ideas on what's wrong here? Thanks for any help! |

Re: Problem with JCM900 1960A Cabinet.
It's got to be the a jack or bad solder connections. Check to see if the shorting contacts on the 16 ohm jack are returning to the closed position with nothing plugged in, try cleaning the jacks with contact cleaner, look for bad solder connections where the jacks are mounted to the board.
