JVM410 Brand New and Issues
Hi all...
Just joined this forum. I did a search but didnt find anything related to my current issue. So here is my situation: I recently purchased a new Marshall JVM410H and a Marshall 1960AC speaker cab. Im running the 410 head master vol. at about 6 through a 16ohm hotplate at -12db and using high-end Monster Studio speaker interconnects and Monster Rock Instrument cable from head to my Ibanez JS1000. I turned the amp power on waited 2mins, then engaged the standby per the manual. This setup was fine for about a week and then the other day i was playing for about 5mins and the volume gradually dropped and then i heard a strange low hum and then no sound. Now when I power up, there is no sound/hum, nothing... Im now waiting for a replacement the store ordered me. Any ideas? Is this normal? Kinda concerned about quality issues etc... |
