Tsl 100 Loud Hum Without Input Signal

I should know this one, I'm a tech.I know from past experience with the DSL
that the board soldering technique at Marshall sucks. This amp had a 1 k
5 watt plate resistor dangling by one leg.No wonder the secondary fuse was blown.I am measuring a small amount of a.c. voltage at the output.
A low frequency hum is present.Almost like a bad ground hum.
Marshall has had problems in the pre-amp stage(op-amps,mute transistors)that would cause the amp to have very low output. This amp is strong but knowing that they are prone to bad solder joints, I was hoping that before I pull all of the boards and resolder them someone might know of a service bulletin on this
problem that would indicate a failed component that I could replace while the boards are out of the amp.I should add that the amp biased fine after resoldering the 1 k resistor. The power tranny is very hot.
