DSL 50 Tube Info

Just looked in the back of my Marshall DSL 50 to check out the stock tubes. It has 2 EL34's labeled Marshall but with a ahnnd written "40" on the tube base. Any ideas what this means. Also, the preamp tubes are all ECC83's, but V1 has a stamp VLVE-00064, while V2,3,4 have VLVE-00055. Any ideas what those could mean?

Your Marshall comes stocked with SED EL34 and a blend of deffrent brand of preamp tubes. If you are looking for a great sound check out elitevacuumtubes.com Retube Kits and I think you'll fine, somthing you like.

A Mullard 12AX7 in V1 makes this a different amp...Very Cool!
