Great to hear that your amp is back up and running.
Those newer Dagnall transformers aren't as good as the odler Drakes found on the earlier DSL 50. The Mercury Magnetics PT is a great choice.

Still, some good quality power transformers can fail, due to overheating, power surges, brown outs etc.
