TSL100 Down to 50

Hi

Is it possible to drop my 100 down to 50watt, is there a mod etc.
I've heard I can take the 2 outer tubes out and use the 8 ohm output.
Is this correct or a definite no no?
Regards Ade.

Depends on your cab. If your cab is rated at 16, set your amp at 8, or if the cab is 8, set your amp at 4. Don't expect a dramatic change in volume, though.

+1, If it is volume reduction that you are after I would say that attenuator will give you much better results. Ultimate Attenuator and THD Holtplate are both good and I've heard that the Weber is also good.
