JCM 800 Died HELP!!!
Was playing it yesterday and it sounded better than ever, today, no lights or anything. It is a channel switching amp, and nothing on the front works and no tube glowing in back. The fuses are good, and the wall outlet has power.
Any idea where to start? TIA |

sounds like somethin fried on the board, see if the board smells like smoke and check all the components to see if anything is fried....

Re: JCM 800 Died HELP!!!
Obviously an issue in the power supply section. Are you 100% sure of that fuse? Hope it's not a bad power transformer. Could be the power switch, the fuse holder, or something simple. Follow the incoming power with a voltmeter...
are you getting power to the on/off switch... is power coming out of the switch... is power getting to the power transformer... is power getting to the standby switch... is power coming out of the standby switch... etc.
